Service Technician - Energy division


Something about your role

In CGT the Service Technician is a kind of "bridge" with the outside world. For this reason we aim to have valuable technicians.
 
You could join one of the teams that best reflects your skills:
 
As MarineTechnician, you will deal with the mantainance and repair of:
  • mega-yacht motors;
  • trading vessel motors.
Activities that you will perform at shipyards or directly on board the boats, so we will need your availability to travel frequently in Italy and abroad.
 
 
As Power Generation Technician, you will perform ordinary and extra maintenance of:
  • cogeneration and trigeneration plants fueled by natural gas or biogas;
  • motors for industrial applications.
You will work with customers in the assigned areas of competence, ensuring your periodic availability (on average one week a month).
 
As Oil&Gas Technician, you will perform the appropriate troubleshooting and repairs of:
  • oil&gas plants;
  • diesel electrical generators.
Your willingness to travel abroad and availability will be essential for us since you will intervene directly on board of the offshore platforms.
 
Anyway, you will work autonomously, but the CGT team will provide you with the steady support. Your contact person will be the Field Coordinator.

 


Our expectations

There are skills that we cannot do without for this role. For example, we expect that you have the following prerequisites:
  • technical diploma in the electro-mechanical-nautical sector;
  • at least 2 years of experience in technical assistance on engines;
  • good engine expertise and electronics skills.
 
What we consider a “plus”
Then there are skills that might be good things for you as a Service Technician. Take note:
  • great passion for motors, and energy world;
  • ability to work indipendently;
  • compliance with the established deadlines;
  • good organizational skills and ability to suggest solutions to technical problems;
  • perseverance, in order not to stop at the first obstacle;
  • excellent interpersonal skills inside but also outside the company;
  • knowledge of technical English.
