CGT is committed to ESG issues and has formalised its commitments through specific policies on ethical issues, environmental sustainability, QSA issues, human rights and supply chain governance.
As a Group, we are also contributing to globally recognised initiatives such as explicit support for the UN 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, and membership of the UN Global Compact Network Italy.

THE TESYA GROUP SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

ENVIRONMENT
CGT, through its holding company Tesya, has undertaken specific actions for the detection and efficiency of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through the 'Decarbonization 2030' investment and transformation programme.The plan is formalised and updated every year within the consolidated Sustainability Report, and CGT contributes significantly to the achievement of the targets set by the Tesya Group as reflected in the Report.
SOCIAL
The development of human resources is a key element of the Group's medium-term strategies, and this commitment is concretely translated through a structured approach to inclusive management of human resources. This approach is focused on continuous improvement, the wellbeing of the people who are part of the Group, and the development of skills. It also guarantees fairness and transparency in recruitment and promotion processes.
GOVERNANCE
The TESYA Group plays a pivotal role in promoting transparency, efficient decision-making, risk management and regulatory compliance, for the benefit of all stakeholders affected by its activities. Indeed, good Governance helps to ensure the responsible management of the Group with a view to promoting its culture and shared values.

THE CODE OF ETHICS

CGT and the Tesya Group are committed to caring for people and building trust based on mutual respect and reliability. According to the Group's values manifesto, this involves being honest, open, ethical and fair, and caring about the people we work with.
CGT's Code of Ethics is inspired by compliance with the regulations applicable to the Group, and with existing national and international best practices on human rights, social responsibility and corporate governance.

QUALITY, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

The Integrated Quality, Safety and Environment Policy (QSA) expresses the commitment of the General Management to health, safety and environmental issues. In particular, CGT is committed to:
  • minimising the environmental impact and ensuring the compatibility of its activities with the territorial context;
  • complying with applicable legislation and regulations, with particular regard to workers' health and safety; and
  • cooperating with local authorities and control bodies in a constant and transparent way.
This commitment is translated daily into clear, measurable and communicated objectives and concrete efforts to achieve them.

THE SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT

CGT and the entire Tesya Group have identified some fundamental principles that guide their behaviour and relations and characterise the Group's actions.
To make its supply chain aware of its commitment to sustainability, CGT has drawn up a Code of Conduct for its suppliers based on these principles.
