Cat C9.3B engine offers high power density with a combination of proven electronics, fuel, and air systems.
On-board computer with touch-screen
Designed specifically for operator efficiency, the panel has been simplified to include the most frequently used machine controls in an accessible position. The touch screen eliminates the need for a second switch panel - all of which results in greater simplicity and easier operation.
Parallel "Z" arm
The new parallel "Z" arm is able to maintain the parallelism of the loads during lifting and also to obtain high breakout forces, increase the discharge opening and the bucket closing angle. This system allows you to carry out all the jobs that previously other types of arm performed separately.
Cat Advanced Payload
The Cat Advanced Payload System includes the original Caterpillar integrated scale and Assist technologies. It is possible to set load targets and view the weight in the bucket, the material already loaded and the number of skids carried out; moreover, it is possible to view additional information on an additional 8 "touch screen monitor, set up the lists of materials to be handled and manage two load lists at the same time. Finally, it is possible to use the Tip Off Assist for the partial unloading of the bucket automatically.
Continuously variable transmission
The Cat® continuously variable transmission is based on a hydraulic pump and a variator assembly that allows for a smooth and continuous variation of the transmission ratio between engine speed and machine speed. This makes it possible to reduce consumption by up to 25%, increase traction and power, even at low revs, and recover energy during deceleration to increase efficiency.
