The 2G agenitor series is available in the efficiency range from 80 kW to 360 kW. Both natural gas and biogas can be used as fuel. The research and development team of 2G Energy AG has achieved excellent results in terms of the efficiency of cogeneration plants by optimizing the gas engine technology. Both the agenitor 406 (250 kW electrical power) and agenitor 408 (260 kW electrical power) now have an electrical efficiency of 42.5 % which ranks them at the top of their power classes in the world. For the system operator, a higher level of efficiency means: lower gas consumption, lower fuel costs, higher yield. Thanks to the heavy engine components, the agenitor is very reliable even in normal start-stop functions.
