Something about your role

As Project Engineer in CGT you will deal with all the aspects concerning the energy division projects. 
 
In particular, you will take the responsibility for technical and commercial management of commissions related to the plants of the three segments of the energy sector, that is:
  • cogeneration;
  • marine;
  • oil&gas.
 
In collaboration with the Sales Team, you will participate in the projects development from their birth; you will establish the costs, the resources, and you will have to guarantee the respect for the deadlines and the customer satisfaction. Practically, you will be the “trait d’union” between CGT and the final customer.
 
You will take care of every detail of the development of each commission and you will be the contact person for:
  • external vendors;
  • tecnichians;
  • designers;
  • sales managers.

 


Our expectations

Since this role is very complex, we expect quite transversal skills from Project Engineer.
 
Along with the degree in Engineering (mechanical / electrics / energy / naval), your profile should be enriched by an experience of at least 2-3 years as a Project Engineer, preferably gained in:
  • technical department of companies belonging to our sector;
  • ESCO techinical departments;
  • engeneering firms;
  • companies specialized in the Oil & Gas, Commercial marine and pleasure craft sectors, Industrial diesel engines and generator sets.
 
What we consider a “plus”
The Project Engineer also requires “extra” skills like the following ones:
  • very fluent English;
  • autocad knowledge;
  • ability to organise and plan in advance the activities;
  • ability to work in team with colleagues, customers and vendors;
  • respect for deadlines and goals;
  • business orientation.
 
We will require your support for a lot of projects, therefore we ask your avalaibility to travel in Italy and abroad.
